- Dr. Marietta Torrejos Balicog is a distinguished integrative medicine practitioner, entrepreneur, and academic with over two decades of multidisciplinary expertise. Born and raised in Leyte, Philippines, she currently resides in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Javier, Leyte, where she continues to champion holistic wellness and community-based healing.
- She began her academic journey as a scholar at the Visayas State College of Agriculture and Fisheries, earning her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering in 1999. Her pursuit of technological proficiency led her to complete an Associate Degree in Computer Science at Sto. Niño de Collegio, Cebu City, in 2001.
- Dr. Balicog’s commitment to alternative healing deepened through advanced studies in Asia and beyond. She holds a Diploma in Acupuncture from the Medicina Alternativa Institute in Colombo, Sri Lanka (2005), and completed her training in Alternative Medicine at the Freedom from Pain Institute in Consolacion, Cebu (2015). She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Universidad Azteca and The Open International University for Complementary Medicines in 2013, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Naturopathy from the International Traditional Medicine Research Institute, Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 2022.
